A clearer way to find a Minecraft server.

Beacon is an independent directory for validated Java and Bedrock servers, with online or offline availability shown clearly until an inactive server enters quarantine. It exists to make discovery useful again: no vote economy, no paid ranking, and no popularity claim disguised as an independent measurement.

Start fair discovery

Discovery before promotion

Fair discovery rotates eligible servers. Votes, boosts, and payments never buy a better position.

Observed, then explained

We check that a public address responds and show when it was observed. Player counts remain values reported by the server itself.

Rules you can inspect

Ranking and rotation rules are public, short, and written for players rather than for advertisers.

Independent by design

Beacon is not an official Mojang or Microsoft product. The name is currently a working name while the directory and its discovery model are developed.
