Beacon separates what is discovered, what a server reports, and what our infrastructure actually observes.

Observe reachability

We directly check that the address responds to the public status protocol. No player account joins the server.

Rotate fairly

Fair discovery rotates servers reporting more than one player through a stable order that changes regularly. No vote, boost, or payment affects that rotation.

Name uncertainty

Player counts are presented as server-reported values. Signals we cannot verify are never turned into claims of certainty.
